Testimonial From Kloe

My vote goes to Dave and Sandra of Anivac!  I have a horse and have owned an Anivac for over a year now and absolutely LOVE it!  Having a busy life has curtailed my "horse time" but having the Anivac has given me more time to indulge my passion -- spending time with and riding my horse.  I no longer have to spend nearly as much time grooming (my horse always has to be perfectly clean before a saddle goes on him and after it comes off).  Now I can just enjoy our time together without getting dusty and tired. Don't get me wrong, I believe grooming is extremely important. I just don't believe that one should have to work so hard to achieve a clean animal.

After injuring my shoulder a few years ago, I found it harder and harder to keep my horse looking his best. I saw a demonstration of this wonderful machine at an equine trade event and knew I had found the answer to my dilemma. My main concern was, "would 'Beau' (my horse) be comfortable with this machine?". Dave answered my many questions and spent the time to truly give me a full understanding of the Anivac's qualities. He came out to the barn and demonstrated the unit on my horse. Needless to say, all went well and I'm so very happy with my Anivac.

I can now bath Beau and remain clean and dry. For anyone who has ever bathed a large animal in cooler temperatures, we can attest to the freezing water running down our arms and soaking our shirt as we try to reach that spot behind the ears, or the wet shoes we have to slosh around in, or all that scrubbing and elbow grease expended just to achieve a cleaner animal. Then we need to deal with the water splashing everywhere as we use the scraper to eliminate as much water as possible....not to mention the drying time......mounds of towels and blankets used to keep our equine friend warm til they are dry. It used to take me around an hour per episode (not including drying time). Just imagine the amount of water used, the hot water tank working overtime (if we were lucky enough to even have hot water within the stable area) and if the barn lacked a wash stall!....heaven forbid!......we stood outside in the mud. After all was done, I must admit, the horse looked pretty good! Me, on the other hand, looked far worse than the horse did to begin with! Now, I can bathe him anywhere and he is clean and dry within about 45 minutes or less. I stay clean and dry. The first side of his body is dry before I finish the other side. The lasting effects of this machine are incredible! Not only is he cleaner than ever for much much longer than conventional bathing, my equipment is cleaner (that's a big bonus, less time spent cleaning leather), I do less "horse laundry" and I have more time to ride or just plain ole' fuss over him. It's amazing to run your hand over the coat and just feel perfectly clean skin and hair! The shampoo doesn't strip the haircoat of natural oils, so the healthy natural shine is still there, but every scrap of dirt is gone. It even pulls dirt out of thick manes and tails. I'm not sure how I managed without my Anivac, but I sure do appreciate it now.

As Dragon's Den is about investing money....there are statistics out there as to how huge the Horse Industry really is.....I'm not sure of the exact numbers, but I think its among the top grossing agricultural industries....and the Pet Industry is larger! There are a lot of people out there spending copious amounts of money on their pets and livestock. It's been reported in the past that a majority of North American households have pets. Pets need to be cleaned. Anivac has the answer. It looks simple to me. I know the Anivac works extremely well. I couldn't be happier with the product or the service from this company.

The many other facets of the Anivac company look every bit as awesome as my "horse vacuum', but I thought I'd post my personal experience with the original use of the Anivac....for horses.

Best of luck to Dave, Sandra and family....this is a sure hit!
